Surrounded by the greenery of Certosa Island, close to the centre of Venice and overlooking of the northern lagoon, it’s classified as a “Marina Resort” and offers mooring and complementary port services to all vessels, from dinghyes to superyachts. Thanks to the recent upgrade works, mainly aimed at limiting environmental impact and providing services to guests, the marina has been awarded for the third time with the FEE Blue Flag for yacht harbours and has recently obtained the MaRina Excellence certification for the quality of its infrastructure and port and accommodation services.
The Venezia Certosa Marina is the driver of the Certosa’s urban regeneration program, recently recovered from abandonment and integrated to the city. The former military plant has been transformed into a yachting destination, close to the open sea and beaches and connected by public transport services. Certosa island is a starting point for excursions into the lagoon, an entertainment place for residents and visitors, a venue for sports and cultural events, and a destination for sustainable tourism.
